  1. "Roses for Mama" was my first Janette Oke and "big girl" book! I think I read it around ten or eleven years old the first time? I loved it!

    1. Oh! And I also tried Chick-Fil-A for the first time last week. On accident *wink* long story. Just be careful where you drive or you may end up in a drive-thru!
I always imagined it was like KFC, which I have never liked. I ordered the first thing I seen, with an ice tea, and it was extremely good! I'd go back in a heartbeat!

    2. I believe I was around the same age when I read Roses for Mama for the first time. I loved it too!! ^_^ Such a sweet, beautiful story.

Yay! So glad you tried Chick-fil-A, and liked it! :D That place is like, my favorite! And yeah, it is kind easy to accidentally get in the drive-thru! But definitely great that you accidentally went to Chick-fil-A, haha. ;) I love the ice tea mixed with lemonade. ^_^

    3. I've always seen you talk about it but I had never tried it! I didn't even know where one was until last week Lol
Mm! The iced tea was super good! I'm a tea girl ;)

    4. That great! :D

Yes, I enjoy it a lot too! Another thing I like about Chick-fil-A is their sauces (Chick-fil-A sauce, polynesian sauce, etc.); I love dipping my fries and chicken in them! :)

  2. You're very welcome! :)

I really like "The Sound of Music" too! It has such fun songs!

I've read "Roses for Mama", but it's been awhile. I should read it again sometime! I've also read "Summer of the Monkeys", but that also has been awhile. I actually read it aloud to the family. I love to read books aloud. It's so much fun to share a book that way!

Ooh! And I like "When You Say Nothing At All" and "Children of the Living God".

    Enjoyed reading this! :D

    1. ^_^ I watched "The Sound of Music" quite a few years ago, and just adored it for some reason or another! Such a neat, heartfelt story; and yes, so fun! :) I need to watch it again!

You should, Emily! I should too, haha! "Roses for Mama" and "Summer of the Monkeys" are such good books that you could totally read again. That's great that you read it aloud! I agree! I especially like reading my own story aloud for my sisters/brothers, because I know exactly how it's supposed to go/sound. *winks and smiles*

Those songs are beautiful, yes! ^_^

      Thanks!! So happy you did!

  3. Summer of the Monkeys! It's been more than ten years since I read that book and I've not heard anyone mention it since. I remember enjoying it and thinking that most people underrated it. :)

    1. Yes!! You should read it again! ^_^ It's probably been about the same amount of time since I've read it ... or longer. But it just made me so happy! :)
