Instagram and Encouragement

Hey, you all. I am not ready for Monday. But here it is. *sigh* I was kind of tired all weekend. And there were some sorrowful things and some disappointing things that happened.

But here's a fresh, new week to live for the glory of God. To lean on Him - He is my hiding place. Here are some brand new days to illuminate His love and watch as He works.

I just want to say ... life can be difficult sometimes. Maybe you're dealing with depression. Maybe you're struggling with temptation. Maybe you're lonely. Maybe it's hard to keep your focus on God.

It helps so much to center your life on Christ! Fill everything you do with faith.

Are you on Instagram? Follow some godly people who will encourage you in your walk with the Lord.

Do you love music? Find some Christian artists that fit your style and be uplifted by their faith-filled lyrics!

Do you like watching movies? Search out some films with amazing stories of faith or allegorical messages. (Such as The Chronicles of Narnia!)

Are you happiest when surrounded by friends? Find like-minded people who will spur you on toward good deeds. Encourage you. Challenge you. Comfort you. Have good, uplifting, fun times with you.

Most of all, be reading the Word of God and talking to Him daily! For He is near and His words are living and active.

1 Peter 1:13-16 & 22-23

13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; 15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
